Basic HDR Question...
I tried to search HDR in this forum, but came up with no results, so searches must be set to minimum 4 charactors...
so anyways...
My Camera is not new to me, but I am new to it, so I am trying to play and learn. Trying to get a cram course before my trip to denver next month.
I wanted to know about HDR. I scoured the web, and it appears that the basics are this:
Set camara in Tripod, Set autobracketing at -2 0 +2, take 3 shots, and then use Photomatix (or other HDR software) to combine them.
Does this sound 'about' right?

sounds exactly right!
what really makes the pictures breath-taking is the ability to play with the tonemapping feature
