If I try to take night shots with my Rebel XT, it looks like I'm drunk, guess my hands shake a lot.

The Gallardo has seen its last track day most likely; I melted the brake pads last December when I had it out at Sebring because I was trying to drive it like my track car. Once you have a dedicated track car, it's hard to dial it back to normal street car levels when you're tracking a normal street car, and that can lead to expensive mistakes. Fortunately rotors and pads were all that it needed and I didn't have any off track excursions.

That's that thing that pops out of the top that I taped down I think.

Actually I have a decent flash, I sprung for an external flash but then realized it has more settings than I know how to use so my setup is probably far from ideal. I'm just using the standard 17-85MM f4-5.6 lens with it, haven't invested in any others yet.

Actually, I did this one by hand, it came out ok, had to take about 30 tries though before it came out well, the camera was exposing for what seemed like two seconds per shot:

I would have bought Nikon if I had known beforehand that with Canon you have to pay for the image stabilization in each lens rather than in the frame. pwnd
