Those don't ring a bell... it might have been POTN, but I don't go into motorsports very often.
I've never been on myshutterspace.

 

MyShutterSpace was a small site for "photographers" and had some good ones that dont pull punches with their critques, which was the appeal for me. Then, as they became more popular, installed a mass uploader function that diluted the content with 300 shots of Billy's 3rd birthday. So if you uploaded three of your best images to the "pool", they would be pushed to page 22 in five minutes because of the 300 uploads of Bill's birthday.

By the way, #2 and #10 are my favorites.

hmmm.

If your only gear is what's listed in your sig, try to borrow another body and a piece of fast glass... even a 50 f/1.8 would be helpful.
An external flash would be good to have, and a couple sets of AA batts to go with.
Charge your batteries and clean and pack your gear the night before, then pile it all together so it's ready to roll.
