Default my infamous D40 is sold!!

Ok guys just seeing if i could get any bites for my camera Im thinking about upgrading and if i could get a decent price for mine id be willing to sell her.

Now on to the camera. Its in perfect shape! ask .:chris:. or distortion and they can vouch for it. The lens is in perfect shape as well, no scratches and no signs of body wear. I'd rather not sell it with the lens but most people that would want this camera will most likely want the lens as well. Its a great entry level DSLR for those looking to get more serious into taking quality pics. It's a very capable camera and has served me very very well!

Examples of what the camera can produce are all over the forum. most of you have seen my work

The camera will come with all the original boxes/cables, the D40 camera body, nikon 18-55mm ED II AF-S lens, nikon EL-9 battery and charger. I will also throw in a 1gb SD memory card so you will have everything to start taking pictures right away, Im also gonna add a tripod along with this, that has a quick release head, and also a Hoya HMC UV filter.

Im asking $400 for everything cause the camera is practically new, in perfect shape, only about 5-6months old

The cheapest used one on amazon is $410, and doesn't come with a mem card UV filter or tripod
Amazon.com: Used and New: Nikon D40 6.1MP Digital SLR Camera Kit with 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED II AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor Lens

EDIT!!!!!!
This D40 also has the "perfection setting" Not found on other D40's!!!

Obviously this is a concept you wouldn't understand, as you just paid real money for an XSi.

I could understand Monopoly Money, but real money? Come on, it's not a Nikon.
