Photoshop was really only used to crop/border/mark. First one did have a curves adjustment though. As for why they look better than they do in person - I think you just don't take the time to stop and look at things. You also can't crop with your eyes - taking a good picture doesn't just mean including things, it means excluding extraneous stuff that you don't want. /philosophy

Yeah, it was me and Michael. You should've yelled out my name or something. Did you get any pics? It doesn't take a super expensive lens to get good pics, most of the ones posted were with my 70-210 4.5-5.6 which is circa 1989 and sells for <$80 now.

Thanks for the compliments everyone. I really enjoyed this outing, first time in quite a while that I've been happy with a good number of my shots. Once Michael posts his, mine probably won't look as good.

SOOOO. Here's the deal. Do we want to have a "meet" here? I can envision it now, 8 or so of us, walking around with our camera in a herd, we'd probably look and seem mad dorky, but would probably get a lot of looks and attention because I think people wouldn't know what to say. Chris and I had 2 groups of people ask us to take pics for them.

I'm working at BG now taking pics at the gate when you first come in. If anyone doesn't have a pass and really cant afford one, I can give you a free one day pass, or some 50% off one day's which would run ya like 30 something. VERY limited supply and I have some other people lined up for some so you'll have to contact me ASAP if we decide to do this little "meet" there.

It would have to be a Sunday, Monday, or Wednesday. Prob Sunday because thats an easy day there...
