You can just get a slighly older canon flash for $75-100 all day long if you check the photo classifieds. Though when you can just save your cash and just buy the best. This is rather one of those times when you only need to buy something once and it will be with you for decades

I think its just sealed but here's the info on it ~>

I dunno, after reading that I just don't understand why it's worth as much as an SLR body. It's guide number is twice that of my SB600, but I rarely fire my 600 at full. Other than that, there's not a whole lot of advantage to me.

(Obviously I wouldn't buy a Canon flash for my Nikon bodies, but I'm setting that aside here.)

I might go with the Vivitar listed above, I've been reading reviews and every one seems to say good things about it, and something about that old school look that pulls my chain!

I dont know what "camera bodies" you buy new for $525.00 but I wont be using it!!! As I stated above... ~> When I need the power ( especially when youre in low-light settings ie: weddings, wedding dinners, birthday parties, and ect...) its there for me! Also, the bounce card is perfect! Its already onboard when I need it instead of using the other methods like a poster board or an attachable flash-bounce device!!!

On a side note: You should already know that I'm O.C.D. and if its not Canon, ~> It wont go in my "Canon" bag (excluding Compact Flash cards.) Yeah I hear it all of the time... "Oh, your just wasting your money on Canon products when there are cheaper products out there that do/ are capable of doing the same thing blah blah blah..." I then tell them, "Well, If I want to waste my money on Canon Products, then leave me a lone and let me buy them !"

i love mine but you have to be careful because some of them run higher voltage then your camera can handle. i only use mine for off camera flash so i dont have to worry
