Question Camera review???

Is anybody here shooting with the sonyA300. I'd like to know what you all think of it. I've got a friend thats upgraded to a nikon and is offering it to me first before he puts it into the newspaper. The reviews I've read seem to be good.

I'm pretty sure everyone here shoots Nikon or Canon with only one or two exceptions. You can always check out dpreview.com if you have specific questions about the camera.

Also, keep in mind that you're buying into a system when you buy the camera. Good luck.

If it's free, why complain? Well Nikon and Canon basically own everywhere! If it's your first DSLR then it should be a nice beginner camera if your friend then went to Nikon.

What all does it come with? Such as lenses & accessories? How many megapixels does it have? And so forth!

10MP
18-70mm lens
75-300mm lens
polarizing lens
Lens hood
cable to pc
cable to rca
best I can tell this all retails around $1000 he wants $650. I stopped by today after work and the camera is in like new condition. Should I bite?

I've got a pentax slr film camera. So I'm not really a newb to a fully manual camera.

I bit the bullet and bought it. I'll let you all know what I think in a few days after I do do a shoot or two.
