Sound like me. I have about that over the 3 days.

I am just tryin to keep it to about 50+ aday.

 

You guys must use your cameras like machine guns.

 

seriously^ why would you possibly need to take that many, you'd have atleast 100-200 of every car. i took like 300 total and felt retarded afterwards and i deleted about 70% of them cause they were just repeats, plus i still had atleast 1 to 2 good pics of every car

 

Yeah, for the last six months or so I've really been trying to cut back on the number of shots. I take a couple of a specific composition/subject and then move on. I find that it gives me more time to think about the pictures before I take them, and my % of keepers has gone way up.

In a situation like this though, it's hard to tell if you get a moving subject perfectly sharp on a small screen - I'd probably have rattled off a lot of exposures too. Infact, a lot of times I put the camera on continuous and I'd shoot 4-5 shots at a time while panning.

 

yeah i used to machine gun my pics off, then i realized that they didnt come out any better that way, plus i had like 5x as many pictures to sift through. Ive learned to slow down and i get alot better results and capture everything that i wanted to, but dont waste so much space on my HD or wear out my camera as fast. ive also noticed that when i have like 300 pics of something rarely do i ever want to look at them after a while, whereas if i have like 40 good ones i usually keep going through them, cause its not so repetitive.

 

Yea I know its alot. but then again I am submitting ones to each company I got cards from.

Also if I didnt blast out that many I wouldnt have the viper wrecking.

Also you have to remember I was starting to have camera problems late friday in to sat.

 

yeah i guess in that case its more of trying to catch something happening then just trying to get a good shot
