78 pics * 2mb each = a lot! No wonder they took forever to load. What are you using to resize?

Try turning your JPEG quality down to about 80% and you'll cut your file size in half and notice basically zero degradation.

EDIT: Nevermind. Just use JPEG instead of PNG!

Yeah i always shoot RAW in manual mode.
then on the comp. i convert/edit them.
all of the pics were taken with manual mode.
