We are hoping (fingers crossed) to have the permit today. But that's like watching water boil, waiting for one.

They will be up next week. It's at 2nd Ave, the old Coast Bank (now First Bank). Right above BayWalk.

Nice work Chris, your avatar struck me as hilarious, GB & MGB, nice stuff as well, GB I see you driving around, we need to meet someday and take pictures and shit... rep for everyone!!!
Thank you Chris did all the work. I'll let him tell ya' what a PITA that sign is LOL All I did was buy the frame.

Matt is always willing to take pictures. Make him do it. Put to use that damn camera I bought for him

No kidding. I deal with City of St. Petersburg permitting all the time. I swear that they do their best to turn you away whenever you go in the door. Getting a permit can take forever, and there's never any indication of when it may be ready untill it's ready... I think our longest permit took 45 days and our quickest was roughly 10.

The sad part is, they're the best ones around. I spent 8 hours in Hillsborough County permitting a few months ago and ended up getting nothing accomplished.

Anyway, I don't know which building that is, but this time could you make it the sign a little less bright? It wreaked havoc on my exposure last time.

Hillsborough County is my easiest. I just drop and go. Now waiting for it....well about 8 weeks. I love Pinellas County because I'm usually in and out in about 2-2 1/2 hours with permit in hand.

EroticA...that would be great. But I will have to tell you that the pay, well.....sucks and would have to be pro bono! LOL I'd give recognition though. If you guys want to, we are revamping the website and if you get pics of our guys or jobs we've done and I use them on the website, you will get recognition and a link to your site. Thats what I was telling Chris, my bosses are cheap. Real cheap.

Chris, the building is at 111 2nd Ave. I hate to tell you that these letters might not be that much better. They are blue with backlit white LED. They might be a little easier to shoot. But that's a big might.

We work all over the place so if you guys ever see crane truck with Davidson Sign Services on them, just stop and take pics. Tell them you know me. Lisa that is....if you tell them MGB they'll probably look at ya' funny.

We are usually down there about once a month. Have a Days Inn or something coming up for that. We were just in Bradenton for a month doing a bank change over.

We go from way north (Ocala area) to Orlando to Daytona (we have a crew at the speedway right now) and as south as Naples.

People will pay for anything I guess.

Oh and thanks

If you want to learn the sign business, you could get paid to do it. Or become a window washer LOL

Not much. It's 11x14, you can get it printed that size pretty much anywhere but they will generally have to send it off to get it done. They'll even do it at Wal-Mart.

Ritz will do one hour prints up to something like 20x30. The only sample I've seen had some serious banding though.
