Smoke is smoke, who cares if it's colored? Seems like an odd reason to ban something.

Do they ban red cars too?

They were banned pretty much cause other teams complained. Politics. It gave Kumho a shit load of publicity. I remember being at the Formula D when they were debuted. The crowd and the judges went nuts
