Preliminary shots
I purchased a Canon Powershot S3 a few days ago, and I am just getting my feet wet with photography. Here are two shots I took earlier:

Thanks guys. I was really into film in high school, but that kind of died. Picked up this camera to get back into things, but I am still not familiar with it and all of the settings.
BTW, the banana was in the corner of a stairwell here on campus, and the corner was covered in urine. It honestly smelled like someone dumped gallons of piss down the stairs. I called it " 'Nana in the piss corner ". Made it more comical than a random abandoned banana.
Also, I go by onefastaod on every board but here, so that's what is in the corner. I need to go about getting this one changed, if possible.

And some more:
I bought a tripod earlier today, too bad I didn't have it for these shots. Guess this gives me an excuse to go back out there...

That would be it. I had the camera for one day before taking these shots, so the next set should be better. I am still reading through the settings and testing them out.

I didn't read my manual, I really should lol. Did you pick yours up brand new by any chance? I got mine used off eBay and I wanted to see what people are paying new.
Oh yeah, for the edited pictures what did you do in PS? As in what did you adjust IE: Contrast/Brightness, Saturation? etc...
