Is this a good camera Says Canon 40d on it
Of course it is. Whats some good sites to get some tips and tricks on dslr's and shooting all around. This is my 1st dslr. I think I took too big of a step up from my old canon a620

I hate you too mars
I started looking at the xti's and the 30d was a much better buy spec wise money wise and lens wise.. but they were out so a few more $$$ picked up the 40d. Im sure its too much camera for me but I Feel Im learning it a tad bit. Took close to 500 shots last night just fucking around with settings and what not

well just think, in the long run you wont have to step up. for a VERY long time.
now just start saving for glass cause if you thought this was an expensive buy, look into some L-glass, and you might poop your pantalones
have fun with it, good luck, and post up some shots!!!

I bought the 30D on May 5th before the 40D was released!!! I'll trade you if you want the 30D instead (with the wide angle lens)
Congrats on the new purchase! <~ Watchout for the Reble XT and XTi haters!

I'm really close to buying the 70-200 2.8L IS glass Its around $1600-$2000
