Default I saw this and needed to give it a shot

I came across this sexy beast and knew i had to photoshop it.
After working on http://www.rsportscars.com/foto/06/908rc06_03.jpg for about 30 mins, this is what i came up with. Sure, no widebody, or major mods yet, but i think it looks better now.

Edit: had to fix the link.

Nah carbon fiber and some discreet brushing. didnt wanna go too nuts on it. And if thats your beetle in your sig.... rod it. Seriously, there arent enough rat rods around here.

Not so easy to Rod a super beetle...having struts and all. But yeah it is mine. The one I am building is getting a Subaru STI engine...

Meh. How much does a beetle run for anyways? Id love to get one as a first car. Besides, chopping the fenders and swapping in a ford front axle cant be that hard, can it?

No not at all..just make sure you get a standard and not a super! You can pic up late models for pretty cheap 400-500 if you shop around.

Welcome to TR, Buggin. Saw your car on 27 not too long ago on my way home from work.

To the OP -- looks GREAT.

LOL...well lets see...a long block with low mile will go for $3000 and up. I saw one with 185K going for $2000 Not to mention you would be in the same boat I am in. You would have to find a tubo, header, alternator, blah blah.

If you do start looking make sure you find a complete engine. I got lucky with my STI engine, the kid thought it was out of a WRX so he sold it for $800!

-blackonefifty...are you usually headed North bound?
