Nice pics. I think you should darken the "HDR" pics a bit. You used the Shadow/Highlight for the HDR effect right? Try adding a little more contrast to them and then burn out the shadows on the front of the car. Should turn out more like this. Hope you don't mind that I edited one for you. I also desaturated this one a bit. Its all personal preferance but hopefully you like the difference.
