Some do it because they are afraid their photo will get stolen. With it being at any given corner one could simply crop it out or if its a lot of solid one could simply clone it out. While its over an image (center) its more difficult for someone to do that. It does bother my eyes as my eyes keep drawing to it. Lisa doesn't have it on all her photos that way so it must be only for the marketable ones?

Moo Cards was running a special: for the price of shipping ($5) they'll give you 50 business cards, only thing is they have a small advert on the front. But when I designed them I flipped the sides so the ad appears on the back.
I figured this would be a good way to judge their quality and printing/shipping time plus give me a chance to try out a card design and see if there were any changes I wanted to make before I bought 200 of them.
I chose the 100% recycled paper for these cause it sounded neat but I think for this design where the vibrancy of the colors makes a difference the standard paper would have been a better option. So already I'm glad I didnt put in for a bigger order. Hopefully by the time all these are handed out I'll know exactly how I want them to look.

It still doesn't hurt to try and be a tad more polite about it, I would have worded it a bit differently myself. Just sayin...
