I love the grip on the D40, makes it so much easier to hold plus two batteries are better then one

nikon no make grips for our dinky little cameras so you gotta get one from ebay or something. they are only like 30 or 40 bucs. and yes. 2 batterys is better than one. i went to by brothers soccer game yesterday with a borrowed 55-200 and a few people asked me about ordering the pictures. i guess they thought i was one of those photo companies that go to sports tournaments. hopefully after i get my new lens i can start doing that kind of think. in which case i might actually need that second battery. or atleast make my amera not look so ity bitty with that big 300 on it. haha

Radioshack sells the same exact thing for 100 bucks lmao

yea i was planning on getting the targus one. thats cheaper than on ebay.
how does it work? does it came with a batery or what?

It doesn't come with the extra batter and it basically just something to make your camera a little easier to hold and store an extra battery. It has a shutter release but it works through the infared remote so its kina useless, I never use it. It does come with a way to power your cam with double a batteries incase you run outta juice which might come in handy.
