I think a light top/backgound blur with a slight desaturation of the background will keep the views eyes on the main subject.
BTW looks like you did radial blur instead of Gaussian blur.

I don't think its working here seems pointless. If you are going for Depth of Field it is too strong and shouldn't be even all around. you also missed a spot on the right tire.
I think a light top/backgound blur with a slight desaturation of the background will keep the views eyes on the main subject.
BTW looks like you did radial blur instead of Gaussian blur.
