I know HTML, CSS, JAVA, PHOTOSHOP (graphics) and alot of other junk for websites. I do not need to learn flash because all my clients just need simple websites.

 

so your saying you don't need to use dreamweaver or front page cause you know programming

 

Anything I design, I design in Notepad from memory.

 

lol i am a partime web designer i make everything for all my sites and from what i can see both u guys have a lot to learn...

not to be mean but theirs so much out their to learn...

with 6 years under my belt doing it partial time i have only mastered html and php everything else i am still learning ....

and dont even bother with flash if you dont plan on doing big corp websites...everybody wants simple asp coding nowadays..

I make everything I use also lol. Yeah, I thought this would be more challenging but people just want a cool background, banner, and links and their good to go haha.

i was thinking there was a way to go too, i leaned much much more detailed stuff in school, thats why i was saying that i should get into it not to be a dick, its just pretty basic.. not bad from using notepad though

 

Next year im taking my first year of Web Design at my school. I dont really need to expand my knowledge since everyone that wants a website wants it simple.

 

take a class outside of skool their so much they dont teach u in high school becuase of the ciriculum

plus forget notepad too much hard coding stresses you out more use DW8

 

i designed this site, but he fucking ruined it by not keeping up with it and adding crap that dont go where its suppose to.
