color change on a honda civic going pearl white? That would be fun. NOT. The pearl white on the lexus cars to me is about the best. bright whites. I am getting my 240 ready to paint and plan solid white. I cant see it being worth it if I had to pay someone to spend a week or 2 on a $2500 car. I am not saying yours is a $2500 car, but mine is Post pics though when it gets back. And the guy who said drive to his shop seems good because he is not scared to comment on others work being great also.

most pearl whites are tri coats. yeah did a 67 cougar in pearl white (nissan QX1 I believe it was) and I spent about 1200.00 just for base coat and reducer. But note to self I bought way to much pearl tri coat. A good rule of thumb with an all over pearl white job. If you get a gallon of white base, half the tri coat. so you would get two quarts cuz you are not going to use the whole gallon. then you are stuck with a bunch of tri coat white pearl....and who wants that.

good luck with your paint job. I would guess in a good reputable shop you will spend any where from 3k-6k depending on who is doing the work.
