na i mean that it is more then likely single stage without any clear at all

get some lacquer thinner and rub it on it I bet you its un catalyzed haha. Which means when you finaly want it re done the right way once someone puts good paint primer sealer whatever over it , its going to lift and wrinkle unless its stripped or waterbourne primed and blocked 1st.... Which means More money
