A good D/A is gonna cost around $200 give or take.I have had alot of them, but the Dynabrade one's are the best.I have two I use now.A 3/16 orbit for rough/dry sanding and a 3/32 orbit for wet sanding.Don't bother with the vacume or integrated wet ones, there all useless, you'll just end up useing a regular one.USA Tools usually have them on there trucks.

get a dynabrade or a hutchins da. for the paper machine I would go to harbour freight. like 40 bucks for a machine that fits like three rolls of 18" paper.

I use hook-it. It's more expensive but it's worth it to keep from flinging pads across the shop.

Plus I just really like how easy it is to work with and the fact that if you need to switch grit in the middle of something you can always re-use the pad without worrying about getting the sticky side dirty.

Of course wet sanding is a lot easier too because the velcro doesn't get weaker with water unlike the sticky.
