want to get my s14 painted
im going to go with better than macco or acono, atleast hopefully the car was prepped lol
ya its better then macco or econo but still what happens if down the road your broke ass gets ahold of a little bit of money now not only are you going to be paying for a good paint job but your going to be paying a good painter to completely strip the car your 100.00 paint job just cost you more. striping a car takes time and time is money
I doubt anyone with a shitty old 240sx will ever want to spend a ton of money on paint... And that's the point. It's not a matter of being a "broke ass". It's that I wanted a fast cheap car, and it needed some fast cheap paint. I don't feel bad when I damage a $100 paint job hitting a cone at 50mph. I just bust open the rustoleum can and touch it up
I'd probably be pretty pissed when I scratch up that $3k paint job though.
p.s. I can almost guarantee that my "broke ass" makes significantly more than most people here. I just choose not to waste my money on nice paint for a beater track/fun car. My nice car on the other hand, has nice paint
Don't judge me and make try and call me broke. I'm not trying to get into a pissing match here, I'm just saying. You don't know me. Don't talk down to people you don't know.

neither option is going to give you a clean paint job. in pictures and far away it might look ok but nothing is going to look good up close. even on a track car. id rather just take a sander to the whole car and leave it like that before i paid maaco or rolled it on.
