Default LF a ballpark figure on painting my Talon

The previous owner sanded her down and rolled on some nasty black paint.
I'd like to bring it back to the original factory color. So, I'm looking for a ballpark figure (not necessarily a quote.) on minor ding repair and an exterior only paint job. Jambs, engine bay, etc. are still the factory paint color. ( I don't have the paint code handy, but it is either R71 or R87. The same red as my Eclipse; first pic.) I'd like to bring it back to the standard 2g Talon paint scheme, Black roof / pillars and red body.

Thanks!
Paul

Yeah well this sucks for you!! This is what happens when people say screw the paint shop--Ill do this myself and roll it on. Im sorry to say you will need to spend thousands to restore this car. I would charge around $1000 to strip the car alone. Not attacking you, but the owner before you for destroying the car. Tough situation man because every bit of the car needs to be stipped properly now which means a lot of disassembly, labor, sandpaper and primers.

Right, I had assumed as much. I don't have a problem paying a couple of grand for a decent paint job. I'm not a broke-ass teenager like a lot of the kids on this site. Thanks for the input.

I dont know if $2k would do it. Get some quotes at diffrent places but be careful as everyone is looking for work right now and they might tell you what you want to hear just to get the job.
