Default Flakey Bike Project

This is for a guy I work with and Ive been a couple months working it in when there is time. He wanted a Cherry black heavy flake deal.

The black ground coat.

Adding the flake and then the Candy.

Cleared-- and ready for sanding and another round of clear.

Thanks. Pics are right after painting but more needs to be done. The flake was large which made the finish look like oatmeal. Hope to sand and clear again to level out the end result

I love heavy flaked paint jobs. too bad the lowriders have taken over the style. One day I want to do a complete truck or car that way.

looks nice! - Be sure to post some final pics when you're done, and when it's back on the bike!

What grit would you sand with before that next clear coat?
