good i believe in this case would mean kinda like eh its alright kinda deal or good could also mean you get what you pay for lol

good means quality. You get good body work done quickly or you get it cheap and not quality quickly. You get it now? Those that do not get it haven't been in the business too long as this is a saying that is used quite often in most body shops by technicians.

The art mike gave me was out of a text book, i think. That was how it looked any way. Everybody that's gone to school for anything automotive gets it and loves it.

Oh shit, nevermind. Forgot I was in the paint section. Totally makes sense.

And yeah, the standard car mechanic saying for this replaces the Good with Reliable.

Thats what i was thinking when i read it, would apply from a mechanic standpoint!

I've had a large color printout of that on my shop office wall for a good three or four years.

People always come in saying "Gee, um, what does that mean?"

I tell them if they don't have the money to fix it right that they are at the wrong shop.

Usually it sorts out the cheap ass people fairly quick.
