Default Tinting tail lights/ corner lights

im sure this info is somewhere on the intrawebs but you guys seem to know what you're talking about so i was wondering your opinions.

i am somewhat familiar with painting. ive done 2 basic sand, tape, spray jobs. and they came out ok for cheap.

i was wondering what is the appropriate way to tint lights. i've used the crappy hobby tint spray for rc cars but that looks like crap after a few months. i want something permanent.

any tips are greatly appreciated.

here are some pics of the 2 i painted:

It will look a LOT darker in the cup then it will end up actually spraying. Just mix it kinda dark and then do light coats.

Make sure you have decent lighting so you can see if it is too light or too dark.

Once you get the desired darkness you can go back and clear over them so they won't fade.
