Default How can I make my rims fit my car?????

So here is my problem. I bought some rims last night and was told they fit my car. Unfortunately they don't and i took the guy's word for it. (I know not a good idea) So obviously now i'm left with a dilemma. I can get adapters that'll make the wheel stick out , redrill them or just sell. I've already post them for sale so if someone's interested you can check out my post in the wheels and tires classifieds.

My question is what my best option to get them on my car if i decide to keep them. Several people told me that redrill is not a good idea but these are going on a Lincoln LS so i'm not going to be racing and these are just for everyday use.

Are there any other possibilities. I don't want to spend a grip of money but i'm not trying to be cheap either. Something that will get them on the car, looking nice and will hold well.

I may have posted in the wrong forum if so sorry and plz give me a heads up so i can switch it's location.

Thanks for the input.

Well that's obvious. I just wanted to know if there was any other options.

You can TRY to adapt them, or having them drilled out.

If you go the adapter method, expect them to stick out a fair bit.

If you have them drilled out, expect to SHAKE like a mug.
