Just painted my car today how soon can i polish it?

Normal shops gives it a day or so of drying, but I'd recommend a month or so.

I just painted a 69 Mach 1 that was a high dollar job...i will wait a week on it (alittle overkill) but on some smaller jobs I usually just wait a day.
