Default protecting bare metal

I Have a 1995 Nissan 240sx project car. I was planning on cleaning the engine bay and respraying it, but because it was badly spray painted before, I did not want to paint on top of it so I stripped it down to the bare metal. I really like the bare metal look and wanted to know what I should do to protect the metal and prevent corrosion. I have did a little research and found cars that are COMPLETELY bare metal!! I was thinking a coat of POR 15 clear paint? Or the POR 15 Glisten PC topcoat?? Im not sure, any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

Heres a link to the POR 15 glisten PC top coat
Clearcoats - Por-15 retailers, clear coat protectant, rust preventive paint, fuel tank sealer

Here is a link to the POR 15 paint, comes in CLEAR
POR-15 Rust Preventive - Por-15 retailers, clear coat protectant, rust preventive paint, fuel tank sealer
