Default battleship grey?

i went to get an estimate on my car i told him i wanted it to be painted battleship grey he said he dosent have it in stock and needs to know what car/manufactior it comes off of. dose anybodie know what it comes of off?


i wanted this color, it is battleship grey right?

Well the name of the color is up for interpretation. Try Saab Dolphin Grey in a chip book at paint store. Dont know the code but it was a 96-98 color I believe.

In case you want the real Navy paint code:
Federal Standard 595 Color FS #16099

If you wanted to go with that color you can buy a small bottle at a hobby shop and brush it on a paint stick. Then someone should be able to scan the color. I had to do that for the Air Force "interior green" since no paint shop knew what I was talking about.

I like that color, should look sweet!!

I think dolphin gray is too much blue compared to that picture he posted. And is just a ugly color on anything IMO.

Ha,I was going to paint mine that color but I sold it. I like it though. Im into drad,dull colors.

Try and come up with your own color. Don't tell anyone and you will have a car color NO ONE has

And yes that is Battleship Grey. Car is even on Honda-Tech with the thread title stating the color...
