if he rolled 30 coats of single stage, first it would crow foot, tons of solvent pop and linear cracks. Unless he rolled it with a with a special boat paint which would put him in the $500 material mark. The more material you put on is not always good. If you can post pics, would love to see it.

well i definitly said he thinned it out alot. he said it basically resembled milk; watery and translucent. ill ask for pics... since, i could be full of shit and be a complete moron

well, my friend derek had his evo painted by a guy up here in spring hill. the car turned out pretty decent. i wasnt sure if i wanted to try talking to him or taking the truck up to the acura dealer in ocala; they told my other friend that they would do his supra for "way less than [$1800]" with a lifetime warranty. but the only problem is, i have to drive the truck up there and i just dont have time with the amount i work. all my days off are occupied with house shit, banking and various errands.

 

i ended up trading the integra for a civic with ricer decals, i took it to econo since i knew i wasnt gonna keep the car, and to what most ppl have told me, the paint job came out alot better than i expected...for only 300 i was REALLY surprised at how not shitty it was. but i purchased how to books on amazon, and im planning on learning the basics, seeing what tools i need to take out the dents, and decently affordable spray guns...and materials
