I have a 92 pearl white sc300 that I'm trying to do a 97 conversion to.
Now the paint on the car is perfect, but I've been told since the car is pearl white I have to paint the whole thing.Or can I get this bumpers blended
Has any one done this ?

if you done heavy metallic colors it should be easy. Best way to do is by doing a test panel or let down panel to know how much pearl to put. pm me if you need tips on a let down panel.

usually depending on the paint systems the lexus/toyota pearls are actually pretty good as far as matching but like krucial said do a test pannel the whole pannel with 3-4 coats of base to make sure it covers nice then do 3 coats of pearl let it flash for 10 min give or take tape off about two inches of it do 4 coats and repeat up to 6 or 7 coats then clear it and check it to the car make sure you look at all the angles in and out of the sunlight but usually toyota and lexus is 3-4 coats.... same goes for most other manufactures except the mazda 27A that red too 9 coats of pearl cause the base is bright red and the pearl is a deap blood red
