Protect from Salt, Sand, and road
Ok, I'm going to be heading down to Tampa from NJ next month. I'm taking the Civic and wanted to get your thoughts.... What can I do to try to protect the front of the car? Someone has said put a thick coat of wax on it and leave it on there for the trip and wash off when I get there... Any other Ideas?

use masking tape, the blue stuff. tape the whole front end up. or put a plastic bra on it.

the masking tape would be awsome! i say try that lol wax isnt gonna do much, against rocks, dirt etc, but may help keep bugs off, you need something thicker to cover the paint or else it can all chip off anyway.
