Default People that can spray Candy Paint...

From what I hear,It's a more "difficult" job.

I'm looking to have my Yukon painted either a "Tangelo" Orange,or "Pepsi" blue in the next 2 months, and wanted to know of a reputable shop.

And of course,You get what you pay for..I know this won't be a $1000 paint job.

there are alot of shops in town that work with candy's. I have done smaller items such as bikes and things. You are going to spend some cash. And when you do make sure they use the HoK clear to go with your candy or else it will fade in the florida sun in a few years.

Good luck finding a good shop, I see so many cars riding around with candy paintjobs that look like ass. Its hard to get it even without any blotchiness (sp?)

Well, go to an independent company, no chain, or places that do majority collision work. Go to a specialty shop.

ive sprayed it once before. its a lot harder as the whole spray technique is adjusted, usually with any RM/BASF/Dupont you can use somewhat the same technique (distance, pressure, flow, etc), but with candys you have to adjust distance from the panel, overlap %, speed, flow, etc. its not a huge adjustment, but on a yukon, be expecting to pay over $5000 easy..
