need help on 2000 hyundai

i have a 2000 hyundai accent that wont rev past 2500 rpm's
i need help asap !!!! rep is always given!!!

like msot cars, computers probably in safety mode
bring it to the dealer or look for stripped wires, or unplugged sensors

hey is it and automatic cuz if it is it mught be your tranny safety sensor cuz i have and optima and it did that and i needed a new tranny and it was a safety feature to stop more damage hope its not g/l tho
