I own a 96 MX-6/LS(the V6) it is not the same under the hood as the MX-3. The MX-3 with a six has the smallest displacement ever to come out of a V6(1.8L) My car is very very fast and i would highly recomend that you get one

yes they are the same

trust me i know. the 1.8l V6s did kick ass though!

but yes the 2.5 V6 interchanges between the 3 cars with slight modifications. they are the same under the hood.

ive beaten all the V6 MX-6s ive come across so i know they are only a 16second car. but they feel MUCH faster just liek the probes do due to weight transfer. nothing against your car at all i like them alot but they make them feel faster than they really are. your motor would drop right into a V6 MX-3 engine bay.
