Need to know BMW parts
My dad asked me about BMW 540i parts and I know nothing about it... Is there a website, or where should i look, for engine specs for bmw....not just engine codes and HP but the nitty gritty like bore and stroke, rod length, crank journal size, the stuff that would be useful when trying to piece together a stroker motor.......any help would be great thanks.

What year is it? But anyway heres a link to the specs on a 98 540i and im sure there not much different but here it is:

My bro works at BMW and knows almost everything!
some us models are different to the european ones (like the M3), so no guarantee!
