dont be so quick to hate on the dsms!!
get a 6 bolt 4g63 so you dont have to worry about crankwalk, and besides, that motor can push a lot of power for the buck.
BTW: If you be good to the dsm, the dsm will be good to you.

I'm not hating on DSMs at all, just saying they are prone to problems...not matter how nice you are to them, which doesnt really bother me, since I am mechanically inclined, like I said I am getting one someday soon myself, but anyway, like I said before, you you have the time to do a custom project, I say go for it, but be prepared because it will be a PITA

That swap looks like a pain in the ass. The body work is a lot easier, just pay somebody to do the body work and paint. Much easier.

LMAO
Compared to what? Installing a short ram air intake?
Its 98% a bolt in affair.
Yes, its alot of work for your general newb... but then again no engine swap will be easy for them.

the reason they break is because dumbasses get them and think that they are hondas and dont maintain them like they should, because the need proper treatment, and they start breaking and it's all down hill from there

also, racer jim, Why dont you just go ahead and do the swap, when someone tells you otherwise you get somewhat defensive about it by making smartass remarks, so just go for it and post when you're not so stuck on an idea

Its because I have, once with the Storm wagon you may have seen in Sport Compact Car, and again with my dad's Storm (1/2 complete).
I know what the hell I'm talking about, thank you.

heh, bad drivers are always buying nice cars and destroying them, I'm afraid the SRT4 is going to be the next DSM mainly the SRT4 because its the cheapest between evos, wrxs and srts, as far as the swap goes, I fully support it....working on a difficult never before done swap myself, I think its fun
