most transmission rebuilds are $200-$250 labor, plus parts, if you bring me the transmission out of the car. I DO NOT REPLACE JUST THE SYNCROS, only the complete syncro/sleeve sets. All transmissions get Hondabond, no cheap alternative. Most rebuilds take one day if all the parts are available. I also have used stuff for those looking for a cheap fix.

Holding up great considering its still not in a running car yet

I really need to get on the ball soon and get it all together and running but 1) I dont have an engine hoist, 2) working outside in the elements this time of year SUCKS (heat, humidity, rain, etc.) and 3) with school and work I just really havent had the time... Motor/turbo stuff is all ready to go though, Fuel system is pretty much done, transmission is still good, and I have a nice new CC twin disk to go in between it... Just gotta put it all in, wire it up, and tune!

 

so it probably has dust and bugs in it now

 

Nah.... I plugged it all up and its sitting in my parts storage room inside the house now...

what you think is wrong with a ys1 cable tranny thats stuck in 2nd and i think it may grind 3rd a little bit and what you think it will cost to fix??
