Even if there were just 1 or 2 other cars going up it would muliply the fun. And it wouldnt matter what they drove, Nissan or other wise for that matter.

When I did the Rotary Rally last year with a ton of Mazda guys as the only nissan guy in the group I was welcomed with open arms. Though nobody asked to look under my hood...

The road calls us all. No matter what you drive, if youre a driving enthusiast, you get it. And part of the fun is explaining to others how you "get it" with your certain car. What better setting to do just that than a road trip.

I'm definitely down. I just need to know what weekend. Tournament season is very busy April, May, June. We're gone a lot of weekends.

The car made it comfortably to Jacksonville on a little more than a half a tank of gas. Considering how its been running lately, that is a pleasant surprise and bodes well for longer road trips. Sure would be nice if the price of super would drop though.

Im headed to Gatlinburg for a couple days at the beginning of February ( which is conveniently located about 30 min from Deals Gap ) ... trying to convince the girlfriend to take the S bucket. Her Hyundai's trans is on the way out so its lookin good...haha

FYI we got a hotel in the area for like $34 a night or something stupid cheap. If I end up taking my car Ill report back with fuel cost on my KA powered vert..

Im now entertaining the idea of a meet and greet for interested Dragon Runners. I mentioned earlier in this thread that meeting for a Midnight Run in conjunction with a Dragon Run feedback secession could work. Or we could just meet some place central in the bay area and discuss this trip. Please respond asap so we can determine our course of action early on in the week.

I'll throw this out there. This Saturday there is talk of meeting at the Tyrone Square Mall to do a Midnight Run. The organizers of this group has asked that everyone meet there around 11pm. I'm going to be there. Empire has stated that he will be there as well. Hope to see you out there so we can discuss more about the Dragon Run and meet some of you face to face.

Also, its fairly common for this drive to stop in @ the Dale Mabry Best Buy, so if youre on the Hillsbororough side of things you would feel left out. This weeks run should take us up into Dade City.
