I'm going to update the Dragon Run post with this information...just to see how many interested drivers will show. To quote a good friend of mine, "Not gonna lie, I'm excited".

I don't think I will make it this weekend. Car developed a loud tick from where appears to be coming from under the valve cover.
Pretty sure it's lifter tick. Just started up today out of no where. It's a loud tick at idle but pretty much goes away if I rev the engine.

That sucks. I hope it's something simple. Maybe it's just the injectors that you're hearing and you've never noticed it before.

Its not a injector. its very loud at idle. If I bring the rpms up to 2000 or higher it goes away. As soon as I let off and let it drop back to idle it will take 5-10 seconds after hitting idle rpm to start ticking again. It starts soft and quickly gets loud after rpm return to idle.

Took a round the block and got into it a little and then pulled it into the drive way. After actually driving somewhat hard for a few minutes it took even longer to start ticking real loud at idle in the drive way. I would say it idled for a good 30 seconds after driving it before starting to tick. Ive delt with lifter tick with my DSM`s but it never acted quite like this.

Going to put som
