I've been weighing my options on wheels today, to get an idea of what I want to do. I kind of want to stay 4 lug, I guess I just dont really feel like doing the 5 lug swap, yes, this severely limits my choices, I wanted a 17x9 XXR 522, but they only come in a 5 lug format, so I was thinking about these..

XXR 513 Banana Sport

or these

XXR 002 Old School Flavor

get the biggest, widest fit available (not 100% on color yet) and then wrap it in a nice, beefy tire. I think it would look good once I get it on some coils and maybe some spacers.

I know there is someone on here with a hatch that has a smaller looking wheel and thick, stretched tire. I was trying to find their sig but I had no luck.

Opinions? lay em on me.

I mean like I said I would like a 17x9, but the styles that I want in that size don't support the 4 lug pattern, that's why I threw out this idea, idk, pickin's are slim lol

 

get a set of almost anything other than Knock offs and you will be much better.

 

I decided on XXR 522's with 16x8, I started lurking pictures and I think it looks hard

The car doesnt look as clean, but I love the wheel / tire combo. I think it's 205/45/16, could I do a 215? or is that not possible?

It looks like a cheap knock off of a decent wheel. Used quality wheels are so easy to find and they hold their value.

 

Buying new knock offs is so dumb. You can go spend $600 on some new sportmax wheels, or you can spend about the same for some used real wheels that will be lighter/stronger/cooler, and not make you look stupid/like an ex honda kid.
