Default 30mm Z32 Calipers with SE 7 spokes.

Hey TR I just had a quick question. I'm down grading my wheels to 4 lug 7 spoke SE wheels and I currently have 30mm Z32 calipers on the front. From what I've found I need wheel spacers to clear the spokes up front. I'm looking to see if anyone has any experience with this setup and what size spacers I will need. Also whether or not I will need longer wheel studs if I have to go up to something like 15mm spacers. Thanks in advance!

you might not need spacers, theres like 2 different versions on the s13 se, the back of the wheel is different. one of them clears z32 calipers
-edit (26mm)

Will my S13 SE wheels clear Z32 brake calipers?

This link may help answer your question. But with 30mms youmore than likely looking at the need for @ least 10mm spacers.

Ok the short answer is that I will need spacers. But do either of you know how big I can go before I need longer studs?

stay 7 and under, although any use of spacers should be done with extended studs anyways.

The links were provided to that IF you hapened to be one of the lucky few that had the different designed SE wheel type pictured.

Mat, thats so true. You will want to use extended studs once you see how few turns you can actually get on your lugs with spacers installed. Just for the piece of mind.

Go to ebay and check out Ichiba spacers (or go to their website). You can get them in packages that will take the guess work out of selecting the correct stud length.
