I was drifting the other day at 3am in a parking lot and a cop came so i tried to run off "stupid decision i know" and he let me off really really easy, he gave me a driving without my license ticket cause i left it home and a reckless driving court date , what exactly is gonna happen to me when i go to court what will i recieve..
Anyone know? thanks guy

 

Most likely a ticket, My buddy just got the same thing a week ago when we were out drifting. He got a $166 ticket and was on his way.

 

I gaurantee you that you will NOT go to jail, much less probation of the such. Like ^ said, you'll get a pretty hefty fine. I got caught doing 110mph in a 50mph speed zone and I got a $1300 dollar fine. They couldn't taken me to jail no dobt about it but I had a get out of jail free card.

 

But it's a reckless driving court date along with a 103$ ticket

 

the judge will give you a big fine in addition to court costs and in addition to that 103 for driving with no license. If you have a clean driving record, then it shouldn't be so bad, but expect to pay several hundred. If you have a shitty driving record, or you just look like a punk ass kid, then expect to pay substantially more.
Last I knew reckless driving could be anywhere from 300 to 1500 bucks in fines, and I think it is 4 points. You ought to be able to take the class to keep the points off. Judge might even hold the points if you're not a punk ass.

 

Same thing happened to me but I didnt run. I had my license but it was a FL license in NC and the cop decided to write me up for no license cause he was an idiot. I got it reduced to $80 court costs and a $15 failure to obey traffic sign ticket. But then again I didnt try to run. GL

 

Advice: Stop being a jackass on public roads. Next time go to a track.

You're lucky, most cops would have stopped you and drug your ass out thru your window and beat you for a minute before cuffing you.

 

 

You should also note that having a reckless driving on your record basically guarantees that you'll never work in a job that involves cars. Or, at least make it really hard to get/keep one. If you're a mechanic, courier, pizza boy, detailer, lube tech, etc., you probably want to fight it.
