my 350z carbon fiber hood
can someone please help me with this issue.
i have a SEIBON carbon fiber hood on my z and i have had it about 3 years.
it looks like its sun or heat fading, but it looks like CRAP....
can i have someone fix this or re clear coat this? and how much does this cost
i want this done asap as it looks bad. if you see the pics, it looks almost like its rain spots but its not,
I have tried polishing waxing buffing everything and it will not come clean. it looks as it may be the clear coat fading. im guessing that it would need to be sanded down and refinished.
Has anyone else had any experiences with this? i tried searching, but it just pulled up hoods for sale.
any business info or body shops that can fix this please let me know.

Any respectable body shop can sand it down and reclear, I paid 100-150 a couple years ago to have a hood recleared, should be a pretty simple ordeal.

i just found the TR post from back when that goes over the whole debate for this.....
I have thought about painting it, but on my black Z the carbon actually stands out and makes the car really unique....
Thanks for the responses, i will contact the local shops here and find one to refinish it.
