Where's everyone suggest going for an alignment?
I'm deleting my power steering so I'm going to need the toe reset probably...camber, caster, etc. I won't need. The place I took it to last time would want probably $60 just to adjust the toe. I'd prefer to have the alignment done in Bradenton but I guess driving a few extra miles on a sucky toe shouldn't kill my tires too bad so south Tampa isn't too bad.

It used to be S&R and let Ranlet do his thing...not sure now. S&R will still do a good job however.

is you're wanting to be that much of a cheap ass, then just measure and do it yourself.
hell, harbor freight even sells DIY alignment kits.
It doesn't matter if you're "only getting toe" adjusted, you're still on someone's rack, you're still taking up their time and equipment. Shops have bills to pay. Mechanics have mouths to feed (often many more than just their own)
100-150 bucks for quality work isn't unreasonable at all.
hell, 60 bucks would have been a good deal.

That price is pretty much the going rate for an alignment...i paid that @ Bob Lee's. Something else to be aware of is the surcharge from places like Tire Kingdom and shops like them charge you for being a lowered vehicle, if you are. I understand the charge...they may need to do something else when under there...but when they roll there eyes and moan about it not being factory spec thats pretty poor. I know that the s-chassis is a car that has a bad rap, but not all of them are like that. I guess its easy to get lumped in with all the drifted garbage thats out there. Bob Lee doesn't pass on a charge like that.

Advance Performance Tires always does a great job, charges the normal going rate though, so that's probably out too.

I just do it with string. I did my friends car one time....he took it to get it aligned at a shop afterwards and they didnt touch it because it was already spot on. If you're as cheap as I am then maybe its time to start practicing...all I use for toe is a string, two jackstands, and a ruler that goes to 64ths of an inch.
Unless the track width on your car is different front to back, that would make it a bitch..
