locked threads
Can we make it so that when threads get locked, there has to be a post explaining why it was locked?
I mean, I could be the only one, but locked threads frustrate the hell out of me.
Especially when it A) hasn't gotten out of hand B) when the question was answered C) there is nothing to explain why it was locked.
Nissan tech isn't as active as it was even a year ago, so the little bickering back and forth threads and the dumb question threads are the only things that really keep it going.
I totally get it when threads get locked because they just end up as a personal "fag fest" like pit road threads turn into, but if the bickering is still somewhat focused on the actual topic, then why not just let it go? who knows, maybe someone will actually post a valid argument and someone might learn something.
Same thing with the whole question getting answered. We all pretty much know who knows what they are talking and what not, but for the A) new people and B) google people, they don't know who to listen to just because they said something.
when I would research something, I would skip right over threads that only had one or two people that responded to the questions as they were typically wrong, or at the very least, only partially right.
I just don't see what the big deal with a bunch of people posting the same response to a question is.
Am I totally alone on this?
Do I just spend way too much time on TR?

Did you try PB blaster or WD40? Just let it soak in overnight and then try again.
