i bought a h22a long block from them for a customers auto prelude. works good so far, thinking about getting a r33 rb25 motor set from them soon

 

Ive heard some bad stuff about them, not doing compression tests for customers and just other sketchy things. I've personally never done business with them. Me and all of my buddies got our motors from JDM of Miami, we've all had great success with their motors, they sent me an extra transmission when I told them mine was bad same for my buddy.

 

i think he was asking for opinions from people who've had first hand exp with them, not 3rd or 4th... fish always gets bigger.

as far as JDM of Miami, they're OK, good clean motor sets most the time, they're somewhat local, and they have a good reputation... although i had ordered a S14 Kouki motor set from them, in the end, it was a S14 Zenki motor set (at least the one with the BB turbo), but the said turbo looked like a 3 year old welded it to the manifold with a $40 flux welder, it did come with a bad ass Navan shift knob on the trans...

my personal recommendation is JDM online, they're based in Canada, but have most EXCELLENT customer service, have live sales on motor sets, so you can actually pick your motor our yourself, out of about an average 20 motor sets, based on up to 20 pics each, with pics and vids of compression testing each one of the cyls. i had ordered a long block from them, if it hadn't been for the xmas/new years holiday, it would have been sitting on my doorstep in about a week, the actual long block i had picked out of 6 available at the time.

My blacktop came from JDM of miami and it was perfect...

I recently bought my R33 Rb25 from JDMTechmotors They are very nice people...They will do a compression test in front of you...they did for me!

I'm very happy with my purchase!

 

good! im about to pick up 3 r33 rb25 motor sets, one for me and two for customers swaps.
