Wow I love coming in threads like this, just a bunch of bickering.

I have had 6 different kinds of bucket seats in my current coupe, corbeau forza, corbeau fx1, bride vios replica, bride low max replica, and 2 seats that have no brand name.

I rode in Kevins GTR seats, and they hold 75% as well as all of my fixed buckets. And I am 6'2 150#. So unless you weigh 47lbs, Im sure they would hold you just as well.

Oh and for the "fixed buckets suck for dd" My car has had fixed buckets for the past year, daily driven. I hate s13 and s14 seats, way less comfy than my buckets.


you dont want to spend 600 on seats, but you want to stay away from IMO the best cheaper made seats there are? I dont understand how that fucking makes sense.

a "friend" of mine, said he didnt like corbeaus... they sucked, didnt hold well, blah blah. Now he has one in his car and brags about it.

 

Sold it a while back but on the sparco the different pads just Velcro off so I took the fabric, wrapped it and sewed it on, and velcro it back on. So it was all black with the middle kouki material.

 

I dont have a problem spending that money on seats. I just dont know if its a good idea to drop that type of money on seats. I basically made this thread to try and convince myself on getting something i dont really need but rather have. And as far a trying to stay away from corbeau, i want to try out a different brand but like i said im keeping my options open ATM.

 

Seats are something you use EVERY single time you get in a car, how is it a question if nice seats are a good idea or not ?
